Learn the touch typing system online and for free
Hi,
my name is Chris, i’m from Germany and i’m the owner of 10-fast-fingers.com a website where everybody can learn the touch typing system online and for free. You can learn it too, just start with Lesson 1, place your fingers on the home row and start typing, it never was that easy.

Great tutorial, how do u advise me to learn these techniques, ie do a couple of lessons then go back and redo them or go through the whole thing then go back to start and redo it all repeatedly. How long on average do you think it takes to become proficient in touch typing.

I would advise you to go through all lessons in a row, it should take about 5 hours. After that you should start writing you articles, chat messages and emails with the touch typing system, even if it takes more time, you have to stick to the touch typing system and write your stuff to improve your typing speed, after a few weeks of doing that, you will be much faster than with the “hunt-and-peck” technique
